Adventures in London
Day One:
5/19/12
8:00(ish)pm
After arriving at the house, we all realized how hungry we were. So we headed down the street, hoping we would find a good place for dinner. We first found a kind man selling fruits who recommended us to a place about 10 minutes away as he counted change for the fruits we bought. This fabulous restaurant is called Sea Shell and the fish and chips there were AMAZING!! I loved it. Then we bought food for the next day's breakfast and returned quickly to get to bed.
Day Two:
5/20/12
Around Nine
The next morning I break the news to my diary: Kensi passed out. It was the night before, and I had been busy elsewhere, but mom was in her room with Kensi, when Kensi leaned forward slowly. Mom thought she was playing around but it turned out she was really tired. I heard yelling and came down as quickly as I could. But it was not until 5/20 that I heard the full story. I did not write much in my diary on this day, other then to express my excitement about Lego Land the next day and to mention Kensi. I assume that we just hung out and walked around.
Day Three:
5/21/12
6:25am
I here express how excited I am about going to Lego Land (LL) in about forty minutes. And Starbucks was mentioned in all caps, so that must have been nice. :)) I don't talk about rides til a couple days later.
I will talk about rides in the next entry and explain the rest of the trip now.
I talk about rides on the way to Amsterdam.
Day Five:
5/23/12
9:37pm
I explain that I will write on the three hour train ride to Amsterdam, Holland, the next day.
Day Six:
5/24/12
9:08am
Other then discussing the LL rides, I talk about: The London Eye: This giant Ferris Wheel has pods that can hold up to 14 people!!! It takes half an hour to complete the entire wheel, and it's a bit dangerous, because, slow as it is, it never stops. People just wait in line, and get on and off as it goes. It's crazy. I also talk about the Lion King. The show was outstanding, and the little cub actors/actresses were so cute with their accents. Adorable. On Wednesday morning we went to Kensington Gardens and in the afternoon to Wicked!! It was so epic. Only Addi, Mom and I went though, because M/K did not want to and Dad watched them. But they went to the London Bridge so it's all good. I liked both shows equally.
Before Wicked, we went to Hard Rock Cafe and I got a cute necklace that looks like a guitar pick. The train ride was really nice.
At 10:28pm, I explain that we've arrived in Holland. It was indeed a long day, but we made it. We had dinner really late. Read "Adventures in Holland" to know more.
