Puppy!!
Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted!! :(
I don't really have an excuse today. I just didn't feel like posting... :) Sorry. But I have puppy pictures!! YAAA!!!
So, I know I said we were getting two puppies, but mom and dad researched and found out that littermates (siblings) tend to bond to each other and not the people. So we ended up just going with one puppy.
Meet Oakley "Scout" Herndon. I say "Scout" because that's not really his official middle name, but that's really the only one our family has talked about so that's just what it is for now... That could change, though!
First off: I did my nails for our puppy!! (A little over the top? Not at all.) :)
He looks really sad in this picture, but he's so cute. :) I was glad he would hold still long enough for me to get a picture that's not blurry!!
Here are his food dishes. As you can see there is still food in it, and they are on a towel so that water doesn't spill all over the floor and make a mess. :)
Here are his collars. We have four, but he was wearing the fourth. Four is a lot but we were planning on having two dogs and so we would have only had two collars per dog. We did that because the bow ones are small and the puppies would have outgrown them pretty quickly. Now we have four. The ones with the bows are bow ties!! So cute! Then there is a black one, a blue one, a green and white bow tie, and a blue and white bow tie.
Here's the brush for Oakley. The other side has softer bristles.
The leashes! Again, two of them because we planned on having two dogs. :) They match the collars that aren't the bow tie ones.
Finally, the toys. I forgot about the Kong toy, that's why it isn't in this picture, but here they are! The red and white rope is probably the one he plays with the most! Two of those brownish bone things (which smell horrible, just so you know.) Again, two of them for two dogs. That blue bone he doesn't play with a ton, but does occasionally. And then there are various tennis balls around the house that's he'll chew on sometimes.
Here's a picture of Oakley I think on the day we got him. I believe that's Kensi in the background. :)

Here he is! This is kind of a bad picture, but whatever.

Alright not sure if you all care but here are the supplies for Oakley:
First-a toy!! :) This is a Kong brand toy that is red. Obviously. :) But anyway, it's rubber, I think, and hard, durable, tough. Great toy. Only Oakley doesn't really play with it that much. Oh well.
Here is his crate/kennel/whatever you call it. We have a towel over it and inside is a mat/bed thingy. There's a little toy in there also, in case you're wondering what that is.Here are his food dishes. As you can see there is still food in it, and they are on a towel so that water doesn't spill all over the floor and make a mess. :)

Hope you enjoyed this post! I've been really loving Oakley. He's so cute. :)
Talk to you guys later!
