First Day Of High School!!
Hey Friends!!
So yesterday was my first day of High School. Wow. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! I seriously had a blast and I'm really looking forward to the year. The first thing we did in the morning was go to Starbucks, which is our little first day of High School tradition. Then once I got to school the first thing we did was met in the auditorium and we had a little meeting and the teachers talked and the headmaster talked and the ambassadors (that's the Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who come to help out) talked. Then we went to all of our classes for twenty minutes. I really like my classes and my teachers. Then we had lunch. Then we did a little scavenger hunt thing and then there was ice cream. Yeah, it was a really good day!! I really really liked it.
After mom picked me up from school we went over to auditions for The Sound Of Music. Addi and Kensi auditioned, then we went to gmas house for dinner. They left this morning for a six week trip to Alaska and a bunch of other places - I don't really know but I totally think that's awesome that they travel so much. Alright. Now this next part of the evening I must explain very detailed, so hang on in there and it's totally sweet.
So, while we were hanging out at grandma's dad came down and told us that mom needed more ice at CYT (she was working at auditions.) So we packed up, said goodbye. I asked if Lil and Crey could come and dad said yes so we headed out. Funny story, we actually missed our turn. I was like, "Uh, dad, you just missed your turn," and he was like "Dang it," so we went a different way and we passed by Mead's Corner and Addi and I were both like, "Let's go to Mead's!!" So we went in there and poof! Addi's friends were there!!!!!! SURPRISE!! So yeah, it was a little surprise party for Addi and some more of her friends dropped in and said happy birthday and it was just totally great and super fun. Mom actually did not need ice, and dad 'missed the turn' on purpose. It was totally brilliant and very well planned out and very secretive. We did really good at not giving anything away. Oh and also one of our friends started singing happy birthday and everyone joined in and even random strangers were singing to her and it was totally awesome! Thanks Lucie. :)
Anyway, it was really really cool and I'm glad it worked out and she had no idea what was going on.
So that's it for this post, I hope you all liked it. Sorry I haven't blogged in like forever, nothing exciting has been happening until yesterday, so that's why I haven't blogged.
